Faces
Boris is fascinated by the mystery of facial expressions. As he observes the mannerisms of people, he perceives their emotions, eg. love, sadness, joy, pain, loss, grief. Faces tell a story but the depth of that story is a mystery. According to Boris, the eyes are the windows to the soul but they are also a reflection of ourselves. His paintings of faces are an expression of his awareness and empathy for his fellow man.
